So if the soap flakes don’t dissolve in cold water, then the washing soda will not be useful to me either. I need a washing detergent alternative for all washing temperatures. However, I did go ahead and try the recipe on warm water and hot water clothing items. No color bleed, no color fading and clothes are far cleaner than my so called “top” brand.
UPDATE: I tried other recipes without soap flakes and found that the soap flakes do provide the added ingredient needed for a clean laundry results. I will continue to buy the washing soda ash and the soap flakes too.

I really appreciated the packaging of this product. Environmentally friendly recyclable paper bag that is also resealable. I used to prepare white cotton shirts for ice dying and they turned out marvelous. The price for this is great compared to other sellers on Amazon. There's no point in paying more for literally the exact same substance, so kudos to Pure Organic Ingredients for having a fair price. The seller also sent a message after I purchased to let me know they were taking care of the order and to contact them directly if there are any issues. It shipped in a very speedy manner.
